Barracudas classically trained chef Dan Stockland is a true cook with a career that spans more than 20 years working in a diverse range of environments from opening Conran’s ‘Bluebird Café’ in Chelsea to touring with the worlds top artists and bands, including Eminem and Tori Amos.
After working, travelling and eating his way around Asia, Australasia, USA and Europe, Dan was ready to combine his exceptional skills and industry knowledge to set up his own personal chef company ‘Confidential Kitchen’.
With a relocation to the north of Cornwall and the opening of his brand  ‘Fillet of Soul’ – a quality, old-school bistro focusing on native produce at reasonable prices, Dan’s celebration of the local material and seasonality are what has given him his outstanding reputation. Bring with this a love of the sea, sailing and fishing and we come full circle to the Barracuda.
